No9 By The Park is a stylish apartment that sits in a Victorian corner villa shared with another 4 apartments. This sophisticated apartment is beautiful, light, and airy, boosting an open plan lounge with dining area and kitchenette with full cooking facilities creating a home from home feel. There is a large king size bedroom and a second small double and a private bathroom with a bath/shower. The apartment is on the second floor of the five apartments so be prepared to have to walk up the stairs to the property. The reward for this is the beautiful views of Pannett Park across the road. No9 By The Park is in a perfect location close to the beach, Whitby Town and harbour. You will find an array of shops, pubs and restaurants within a moments’ walk as well as excellent transport links.

Neighbourhood Information

Positioned opposite the lovely Pannett Park and only a 5-minute walk to Whitby Train Station. Close to the Town and Beach and a stone’s throw away from and array of shops, pubs, and restaurants. The famous Trenchers Fish & Chips is only a 2 minutes’ walk away near the swing bridge where you can enjoy crabbing or book excursions, tours, and boat trips. A further 2-minute walk towards the beach you will find the famous Magpie Cafe, Dracula’s Experience, Whitby Harbour, Pleasure Land and Fun City. Cross over the swing bridge to find the quintessential old town with picturesque, cobbled roads, charming shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and the 199 steps leading to the beautiful notorious Whitby Abbey. Take a walk along the Cinder Track or a hike along the Cleaveland Way National Trail and see the beautiful and ever-changing landscapes and scenery. A short ride away you can visit Sandsend particularly known as a hub for fine food and rock pooling on the beach. Or visit the stunning fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay. In less than 10 minutes’ drive you can reach the stunning North York Moors National Park.

No9 By The Park is the perfect stay for the infamous Goth Weekend, Regatta Weekend and Whitby Soul Weekender. It’s well suited for cyclist, ramblers and couples, small families and groups who just want to enjoy the fine food, drinks and beauty that Whitby has to offer.

Directions

From the A171 take the A174 Prospect Hill towards the Town and continue on this road for about 200m where you will find a small roundabout. Take the last exit off the small roundabout onto Bagdale. Broomfield Terrace is 100m on the right with Pannett Park on the left.

Parking

There is no parking at the property, but we provide parking permits free of charge to all guests throughout their stay for local street parking. No9 By The Park is also located to numerous public car parks.
